The Topshelf Open 2013 ‘s-Hertogenbosch will take place from June 17 to June 22 in The Netherlands and is a perfect grasscourt warm-up event for the third Grand Slam event of this year – the Wimbledon Championships. This dual-gender event has a total financial commitment of € 467,800 for the men’s event and $235,000 for the women’s event. Last year’s champions were world number four David Ferrer of Spain (ATP) and Nadia Petrova of Russia (WTA).
Ferrer is expected to be back to defend the title and as the tournament top seed. In the women’s side, top 20 stars such as Roberta Vinci, Dominika Cibulkova and Kirsten Flipkens will lead a very competitive field that will surely excite tennis fans from all over.
