The Western & Southern Cincinnati Masters have granted wild cards to four American men for the main draw matches. The Cincinnati Masters 2013 begins on Monday, August 12.
The four lucky recipients are 33-year old James Blake, 28-year old Brian Baker, 21-year old Ryan Harrison and 20-year old Jack Sock.
Baker is currently making a progressive return to the tour after a knee surgery that he had last January. He played at an ATP Challenger in Aptos where he lost in the second round. He’s ranked out of the world’s top 150 due to inactivity which was a huge slump from being part of the world’s top 50 last year.
The top sixteen in the world’s rankings in both WTA and ATP Tours this week will also reflect the seedings in Cincinnati with all the top players committing to participate in this Premier and Masters event.
