The Del Potro vs Tursunov Cincinnati Masters 2013 quarterfinal match will take place on August 16, Friday at the Centre Court. It is the first match scheduled for the day. This will be the second meeting between Dmitry Tursunov of Russia and Juan Martin Del Potro of Argentina with Del Potro winning their previous match in November 2011 in Valencia. This is Tursunov’s first career ATP Masters 1000 quarterfinal and he’s the lowest-ranked player left in the competition (at 44). He made a stir in the tournament after defeating world number four David Ferrer in the third round. As for Del Potro, this is the second straight year that he’s made it in the final eight or better at Cincinnati Masters. He’s aiming to equal his feat last year where he reached the semifinals.
