Martina Hingis & Daniela Hantuchova unsure to continue doubles partnership after US Open 2013

Martina Hingis and Daniela Hantuchova have stated that they have yet to decide whether they will continue their doubles partnership after the US Open Tennis Championships, adding that it will depend on their results in the five hardcourt tournaments that they’ve committed to participate in.

Hingis made a return at the WTA Tour last week at the Southern California Open in Carlsbad where she and Hantuchova lost in the second round. This week, the duo also lost their second round match. They are committed to participate at Cincinnati, New Have and the US Open.

“It’s almost the end of the season, but we’re looking forward to probably playing beyond that. It also depends on the results. That all has to come together and we have to feel comfortable with each other. I think that’s the most important thing. Then we will decide what we’ll do,” Hingis was quoted as saying during this week’s Rogers Cup in Toronto.
