The Kvitova vs Doi 2013 US Open Tennis Championships first round match will take place on August 27, Tuesday at the Arthur Ashe Stadium. This is the first scheduled match of the day session which starts at 11:00am EST.
Petra Kvitova, on paper, is the favorite to win the upcoming match. The Czech star enters the US Open with a runner-up finish at New Haven and is currently ranked 10th in the world.
This will be the second Kvitova vs Doi match with the higher-ranked Kvitova winning their lone meeting in Katowice earlier this year. But that was a match on claycourts.
