Serena Williams still not satisfied with already fantastic 2013 season

World number one Serena Williams revealed that she’s still not satisfied with the way she’s performing this season even though evidence suggests that she’s achieved a lot this year, winning seven titles to date.

“You know I’m not there yet with the way my year has gone,” Williams was quoted on Monday at the ongoing Rogers Cup in Toronto where she is the number one seed.

“Everybody is like ‘You’ve had a good year and I’m like, who?'” she added.

The American tennis superstar said that she wants to win every tournament that she participates on but highlights Grand Slam events as to where she wants to perform the best.

“That’s me,” she said. “I work really hard to do the best, especially in grand slams.”

“I just love this sport so much and we were just practicing. It’s just so fun. I’m having more fun than I have ever had,” she added.

Williams only lost three times this year, including a surprise fourth round exit at the Wimbledon Championships. The American won her second Roland Garros title last May.
