Srdjan Djokovic criticizes Roger Federer anew

Srdjan, the father of top-ranked Novak Djokovic, seems to have a deep-seated resentment against Swiss superstar Roger Federer after he once again unleashed fresh criticisms against the latter.

In yet another interview with Serbian daily Kurir, Srdjan said: “First of Novak and his generation tennis were very boring. Was talk only of Federer, it was all focused on him. Novak instead with the sport has changed; everything has become much more fun. ”

Novak Djokovic has distanced himself from the issue, stating that he’s not responsible for his father’s comments.

Earlier this month, the elder Djokovic has criticized both Federer and Rafael Nadal.

“Federer may still be the best tennis player in the history of tennis, but as man he is completely opposite,” he was quoted as saying.

He also revealed that Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic are no longer best friends after his son started winning against the 11-time Grand Slam champion.

Nadal has already stated that there’s no problems between him and the top-ranked Serbian in this week’s Rogers Cup. Meanwhile, Roger Federer has yet to make a comment about this issue. The Swiss star is currently in Cincinnati ahead of the Western and Southern Open which begins next week.
