World number four David Ferrer of Spain, Gael Monfils and Kevin Anderson are some of the big names in tennis that have confirmed participation at the Heineken Open 2014 tournament. Ferrer is a four-time defending champion at this ATP 250 event that takes place in Auckland, New Zealand in January.
Monfils, a former top ten player from France, made an impression to the New Zealand crowd last January with his performance. He reached the quarterfinals before bowing out to German Tommy Haas.
World number 21 Kevin Anderson of South Africa had competed at this event in the past and will be raring to add the title to his collection.
