World number two Rafael Nadal stands to earn a whopping $3.6 million after the conclusion of the US Open 2013 Championships if he wins the title by defeating world number one Novak Djokovic in the final.
The US Open 2013 singles winner stands to earn $2.6 million. However, Rafael Nadal can get an additional $1 million bonus since he won the US Open Series 2013. A runner-up finish in New York will still get him an additional $500,000 bonus.
Nadal remains unbeaten in hardcourt matches this season and has a 21-15 edge versus Novak Djokovic in their head to head series record.
The Novak Djokovic vs Rafael Nadal US Open 2013 final match will take place on September 9, Monday at the Arthur Ashe Stadium.
