World number one Serena Williams was all business at the US Open 2013 quarterfinals on Tuesday night against Carla Suarez Navarro of Spain. The American was at her element and did not allow her opponent to build any form of momentum in the match. The match ended with a score of 6-0, 6-0.
Up next for Williams is China’s Li Na. Li Na outlasted Ekaterina Makarova of Russia in three sets. The women’s semifinal is slated on Friday, September 6.
