Air Serbia names first player after Novak Djokovic

Air Serbia, the new national carrier for the European nation, has named its first plane after Novak Djokovic.

According to reports, the name of the world number two is emblazoned in large letters at the front of the plane. The Airbus A319 made its first flight last weekend to Abu Dhabi in United Arab Emirates.

The company stated that its other airplanes will bear names of 14 important Serbian nationals. The serbian media has reported that Djokovic is happy to help the upstart airline company.

The plane is designed with double-headed eagle logo in red, white and blue which are Serbia’s national colors. Air Serbia formed a lucrative partnership with Etihad Airways which owns 49 percent stake on the company.
