Here’s the ATP World Tour Rankings as of October 14, 2013. Rafael Nadal increases his lead over rival Novak Djokovic by reaching the Shanghai Masters semifinal. Djokovic, who successfully defended the Shanghai Masters on Sunday, remains in number two. David Ferrer becomes new world number three since Andy Murray’s Shanghai Masters runner-up points from last year were deducted. Murray will skip the rest of the season due to ongoing rehabilitation from a recent back surgery.
