Bulgarian Grigor Dimitrov announces Roger Rasheed as new coach

Grigor Dimitrov of Bulgaria announced via his official Facebook page that he has hired the services of new coach Roger Rasheed for the rest of the 2013 season.

“Roger [Rasheed] and I have agreed to spend some time in the short term to help me in the journey forward in preparation for 2014 and we both are looking forward to this collaboration,” Dimitrov posted via the social networking site.

Rasheed had worked with some of the top tennis players on the tour including two-time Grand Slam champion Lleyton Hewitt and top French players Jo-Wilfried Tsonga and Gael Monfils.

Dimitrov is currently in Shanghai for the ATP Masters 1000 hardcourt event in the Chinese city. He will face Japan’s Kei Nishikori in the first round.
