Milos Raonic continues strong form by reaching Japan Open final, will play against Del Potro

Canadian Milos Raonic improved his chances in qualifying for the ATP World Tour Finals 2013 by reaching the ATP 500 Japan Open Tennis Championships final after defeating Ivan Dodig of Croatia 7-6, 6-1 on Saturday. This is Raonic’s fourth final of the year where he’s gone 2-1 in those outings. He won the Thailand Open title last weekend.

Up next for Raonic is world number seven Juan Martin Del Potro of Argentina. Del Potro, the tournament’s top seed, reached the final by defeating Spain’s Nicolas Almagro of Spain 7-6, 7-6.
