Team Russia secured the Junior Fed Cup title for the fourth time after defeating Team Australian 2-0 in the final that took place on Sunday in Mexico. The Russia was represented by Veronika Kudermetova, Darya Kasatkina and Aleksandra Pospelova.
In the first rubber, Veronika Kudermetova defeated Priscilla Hon 6-4, 6-4 to give the Russians an early lead and they never looked back after Darya Kasatkina defeated Naiktha Bains 6-3, 6-2 to seal the victory. United States finished in third after defeating Hungary 2-0.
