Stanislas Warinka reveals best friends on ATP Tour – Benoit Paire and Roger Federer

Swiss number two Stanislas Wawrinka said in an interview with Daily Mail that his best friends on the ATP Tour are his compatriot Roger Federer and French player Benoit Paire. During the course of the interview, Wawrinka said that his five-set loss at the Australian Open in January this year was the best match of his career so far.

“I think it was earlier this year against Novak Djokovic in the Australian Open fourth round. I lost 12-10 in the fifth set. It was a tough loss but my level was amazing during the five hours,” he said.

As for his best friends on tour?

“I am really close friends with Roger Federer and also with Benoit Paire. I’m going out with Benoit to the restaurant for dinner and playing PlayStation with him sometimes,” Wawrinka said.
