Germany’s Tommy Haas is still in the running for the ATP World Tour Finals in London after defeating Robin Haase of Netherlands 6-3, 4-6, 6-4 to win the Erste Bank Open final on Sunday. The German became the 13th player to win multiple titles this season. This is his 15th career title.
Haas received €90,500 and Ranking points for winning the title and runner-up Haase goes home with €47,670 and 150 ranking points.
The German is now about 700 points behind ninth-placer Richard Gasquet for the ATP Race to London standings. With 1,500 ranking points in play in the next two weeks, he still has a great chance to qualify for the year-end event.
