How to donate for Typhoon Haiyan (Yolanda) victims in the Philippines

A devastating category 5 storm named Typhoon Haiyan (local name: Yolanda) barreled past The Philippines on Friday, November 8, 2013. Millions of residents were affected by the storm touted to be the strongest ever in history to make a landfall. Thousands of people were feared dead and that there are hundreds of thousands more who are in need of immediate assistance in terms of medicines, water and food supplies.

Images of devastation have been posted online to give the world the insight as to how strong the wrath of the typhoon was.

I am appealing to everyone for assistance to help my fellow Filipinos in need. I have compiled some of the useful websites/articles where you can donate. Please feel free to share this article through social networking sites so that it can reach out to as many individuals in the world. Thank you!
