Novak Djokovic defeats Rafael Nadal at Chile exhibition

World number two Novak Djokovic outplayed top-ranked Rafael Nadal once more at an exhibition match held in Santiago, Chile this week.

Djokovic, who defeated Nadal at the ATP World Tour Finals championship match in London earlier this month, outmuscled his Spanish opponent 7-6, 6-4. The exhibition match was in honor of the retirement of Chilean Nicolas Massu, a former Olympic gold medalist.

Nadal could still avenge the defeat as they are still slated to meet this Sunday at an exhibition match in Buenos Aires, Argentina. This event is in honor of Argentine David Nalbandian who also retired from the sport this year. Nalbandian is a former Wimbledon finalist who reached a career high world number three.

The outgoing players Massu and Nalbandian played against each other with the Chilean winning the match 6-4, 6-2.
