Andy Murray to compete with Nenad Zimonjic in Qatar Open 2014 doubles

World number four Andy Murray is making up for the lost time during the latter part of the 2013 season by participating in both singles and doubles competition of this week’s Qatar Open. The Wimbledon 2013 champion will team up with top doubles player Nenad Zimonjic of Serbia in the doubles event.

This development was confirmed by Zimonjic via his Twitter account earlier this week:

“My partner in Doha will be Andy Murray! I can not wait to start the new season,” he tweeted.

Murray is the defending champion of Brisbane International that’s taking place the same week as the Qatar Open but opted to participate in the Middle Eastern tennis event.
