The Australian Open 2014 Men’s | Women’s Draw has been released this week with interesting early round match-ups happening during the first week of competitions at the Melbourne Park. World number one Rafael Nadal leads the men’s field and will face Australian Bernard Tomic. In the women’s side, top-ranked Serena Williams will face promising Australian Ashleigh Barty.
The men’s top draw is noticeably more competitive with Rafael Nadal drawn with Juan Martin Del Potro, Andy Murray and Roger Federer. The bottom draw sees three-time defending champion Novak Djokovic with David Ferrer and Stanislas Wawrinka.
