Juan Martin Del Potro seeks wrist treatment in Minnesota

World number four Juan Martin Del Potro went to Minnesota earlier this week to consult with Mayo Clinic’s Dr. Richard Berger after feeling recurring pain in his left wrist.

According to Del Potro’s camp, the Argentine experienced severe pain during the early parts of the Australian Open which progressed. Del Potro was ousted in the second round by Roberto Bautista Agut in a match that lasted five sets.

Del Potro had experienced wrist pain during the US Open 2013 tournament where he received injection to alleviate the pain. The same pain was also experienced during the 2012 and early 2013 season.
