Ana Ivanovic, Caroline Wozniacki renew endorsement deals with Dubai Duty Free

Former top-ranked tennis stars Caroline Wozniacki of Denmark and Ana Ivanovic of Serbia have reportedly renewed their personal endorsement deals with Dubai Duty Free, a giant airport retailer.

These two WTA stars will continue to be the brand ambassadors of the company. Dubai Duty Free has been a long-time major sponsor of the WTA Tour which dates back in 2004. The announcement came in time to celebrate the 10-year partnership between WTA and Dubai Duty Free.

Wozniacki has attended the Newbury Races for the spring meeting back in 2012 as a brand ambassador. She also graced the Dubai Airshow Gala last year. Ivanovic took part in the Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby in June last year and was also seen at the Dubai International Film Festival in 2012.

The Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships is currently taking place this week with a total prize money of $2 million. Ivanovic and Wozniacki are also part of this event which also features top-ranked Serena Williams.

“All the restaurants, the cafes, everything! It’s just amazing,” Wozniacki said. “I usually go there for practice sometimes when I know that the weather’s good. I love that you can do anything you want. I love the Madinat Jumeirah with all the restaurants and canals – it’s one of my favorite places to go. They have a really good steak restaurant called MJ’s, which is one of my favourite places.”
