Two of the world’s best tennis stars will clash in a highly anticipated exhibition match in New York next month. This would also be a showdown between two premium watch endorsers.
World number two Novak Djokovic, the new global ambassador for Seiko watches, and Andy Murray, a global endorser of Rado, will be playing an exhibition match at the Madison Gardon in the Big Apple for the BNP Paribas Showdown event on March 3. This is the date of the second annual World Tennis Day.
“We are really excited to be a part of such a fantastic match, which we are sure will prove the hottest ticket in town. It’s a great venue with some amazing players – including Andy Murray – and Rado is proud to be the official timekeeper. We are sure all 18,000 seats will be full this year,” said Rado CEO Matthias Breschan.
Rado is one of the major sponsors of the event.
The event will also feature current top-ranked doubles team Mike and Bob Bryan facing off the McEnroe brothers.
