Todd Martin to become next CEO of Tennis Hall of Fame

Former world number four Todd Martin has been confirmed to be the next Chief Executive Officer of the International Tennis Hall of Fame & Museum.

During his days as a professional tennis player, Martin became a strong fixture in the world’s top five and reached the finals of the 1994 Australian Open and 1999 US Open. He also participated in Davis Cup ties for the US team from 1994 to 2002. He helped the US win the Davis Cup back in 2005. He has accumulated eight singles titles and four doubles titles.

“It is an honor to be charged with preserving the rich history of our sport and to celebrate the people who have created its greatest moments,” he said.

Martin will succeed Mark L. Stenning, who has been in the organization for the past 35 years and served as CEO for the past 14 years.

Martin will start as a CEO-designate of the organization starting April 1 and will officially take over once Stenning’s tenure ends in September 5.
