BNP Paribas Open 2014 Indian Wells ITunes, Android App are now available for download

The BNP Paribas Open 2014 Indian Wells ITunes, Android App are now available for download. This was made possible after the organizers of this prestigious ATP and WTA event made use of the current technology to make sure that fans from all over won’t miss the action at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden.

The good news is that it is free to download and use the BNP Paribas Open 2014 Indian Wells ITunes and Android appl

One of the great features of this application is the ability of the users to watch live stream matches from any of the main four courts at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden simultaneously. Fans will also have access to great information such as updates and scores via this app.

“It was a big investment and I think a good investment for us,” said Indian Wells Tournament Director Steve Simon. “It has become a second-screen world now. Most people are multitasking. They’re watching the football game, and they have their device, talking to their buddy, Skyping.”

Aside from the above-mentioned technological update, the wifi network at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden has been upgraded significantly. Simon revealed that the wifi system is similar to the one currently installed at the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. The network can accommodate up to 25,000 people streaming the live coverage of the matches altogether.

“We’ve put in what I term a true wifi,” Simon said. “A lot of places you can get connectivity, but you don’t get connectivity It spins or takes 30 minutes to download a PDF.”

“They want all the things about seeing sports live. They want the seating and comfort and all the amenities, which we have now with the restaurants and the comfortable seats, and shade and video and food and all these great things,” Simon said. “Now we brought the home experience with you now, with connectivity. Now you can do social media, you can watch other matches, you can do whatever you want and that’s where it’s going right now.”

The organizers also invested about $70 million for the improvement of the venue which included expansion and creation of the new Stadium 2 equipped with state-of-the-art technology and three high-end restaurants such as Nobu.
