It wasn’t an easy choice but Argentine Juan Martin del Potro announced on Sunday that he will undergo left wrist surgery on March 24, Monday.
Del Potro, the 2009 US Open champion, has been dealing with wrist problems since the Australian Open where he made a surprise exit in the second round. He had a promising start of the season when he won the Sydney International title. He pulled out of last week’s Indian Wells Masters and this week’s Miami Masters to deal with the problem with his left wrist.
