World number three Roger Federer has pulled out of this week’s Madrid Masters 2014 tournament in order to spend time with his pregnant wife Mirka who is expected to give birth anytime soon. The Swiss tennis superstar is rumored to miss a big chunk of the claycourt season as his wife is expected to give birth around this time. He has yet to confirm whether he will compete at the Rome Masters 2014 tournament next week where he was a finalist last year (lost to Rafael Nadal).
