Here’s the 2014 US Open Men’s Seeds List. The seedings were based on ATP rankings for the week starting August 18. Defending champion Rafael Nadal has pulled out of the competition due to ongoing rehabilitation for his right wrist which he reportedly injured while in practice prior to the Rogers Cup tournament in Toronto. This year’s top seed is world number one Novak Djokovic followed by world number three Roger Federer who claimed the number two seeding following Nadal’s withdrawal.
The 2014 US Open Tennis Championships takes place from August 25 to September 8 at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing, New York.
