Novak Djokovic and Jelena Ristic are extremely secretive when it comes to the due date of their first born. However, Djokovic did give a bit of preview in China when he said that it will be in the next few weeks which garnered speculations that he might skip the indoor events in Paris and London.
“We are expecting it to happen in about a month,” he said. “So for now I’m playing here. I’m playing Shanghai. I’m supposed to play Paris and London. Nothing particularly changes in terms of tennis schedule.”
The top-ranked player, who won his fifth title in Beijing, is currently competing at the Shanghai Masters where he reached the semifinals and will face Roger Federer for a place in the final.
The Serbian has always said that his family is his main priority while ending the season as world number one is his main professional goal.
