This is the seventh edition of the tournament. Despite not giving out ranking points to the winner and the participants, the players still give their best tennis at this event as the compete and at the same time warm up for the lucrative hardcourt season coming up later in the month, which includes several hardcourt tournaments in Australia and New Zealand and the highly-anticipated Australian Open 2015 tournament in Melbourne.
World number one Novak Djokovic became the first player to win the tournament three times. 14-time Grand Slam champion Rafael Nadal will mark his comeback at this event which is certainly a treat to tennis fans everywhere.
The six competitors are: Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal, Stanislas Wawrinka, Andy Murray, Nicolas Almagro and Feliciano Lopez.
