Roger Federer to skip Miami Masters, unveils partial 2015 schedule

World number two Roger Federer revealed that he’s been back on the practice courts this week in preparation for his next tournament – the Dubai Tennis Championships. Federer is the defending champion at this ATP 500 tournament.

The Swiss tennis superstar won’t be taking part in the Miami Masters 2015 based on the schedule he uploaded. He said that he is still working on his schedule after the Wimbledon tournament which begins on June 29.

“I’ve been back on the practice courts for the last couple of days. Very excited to be back on the ATP World Tour at the end of the month. Below will be my schedule for the next few months:

23 Feb: Dubai
12 March: Indian Wells
12 April: Monte Carlo
3 May: Madrid
10 May: Rome
24 May: Roland Garros
15 June: Halle
29 June: Wimbledon

I am currently working on my summer and fall tournament schedule and as soon as I have it finalized, I will release it. I’m looking forward to a great 2015!”
