CAS to issue decision on Maria Sharapova’s appeal in October

The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) announced on Tuesday that it will release its decision in the arbitration procedure between Russian tennis star Maria Sharapova and the International Tennis Federation during the first week of October next month.

The Russian has been out of action since then. The Tennis Anti-Doping Programme (TADP) officials decided to impose a two-year ban for Sharapova to play professional tennis which will end on January 2018.
