David Ferrer wears down Ukrainian opponent to reach Wimbledon 4th round

Fourth-seeded David Ferrer continues his journey at the All England Club with a tough five-set victory over Alexandr Dolgopolov of Ukraine on the third round of Wimbledon Championships 6-7. 7-6. 2-6, 6-1, 6-2 on Saturday.

The Spaniard, who reached his first Grand Slam final at the recently concluded French Open, was treated for foot blisters but that did not stop him from reach the final 16 of Wimbledon for the fourth consecutive year. He reached the quarterfinals last year.

Up next for Ferrer is Croatia’s Ivan Dodig.
