The Novak Djokovic vs Tomas Berdych Wimbledon 2013 Men’s Singles Quarterfinal match will take place on July 3, Wednesday at 1pm Wimbledon time. It is the first match scheduled at Court No. 1 at the All England Club. Top seed Djokovic reached the quarterfinals by defeating Germany’s Tommy Haas 6-1, 6-4, 7-6 while seventh-seeded Berdych ended the brave run of Australian Bernard Tomic 7-6, 6-7, 6-4, 6-4.
This will be the sixteenth Djokovic vs Berdych match on tour with Djokovic leading 13-2 in their past fifteen meetings. However, their last meeting at Rome Masters, Berdych outlasted the Serbian top-ranked player in the quarterfinals. Both faced each other once at the All England Club in 2010 with Berdych winning their semifinal match and earned a Grand Slam final berth (lost to eventual champion Rafael Nadal).
