The Wimbledon Championships 2013 is now on its eighth day of competitions at the All England Club and the quarterfinalists for both men’s and ladies’ singles events have been determined. In a shocking development, defending champion Serena Williams was ousted by German Sabine Lisicki which means that the only former Wimbledon champion remaining is eighth seed Petra Kvitova of the Czech Republic. The eighth day will feature quarterfinal matches in the ladies’ singles.
