ITF grants Philippines’ request to host Davis Cup match against Pakistan

The Philippines’ request to host its upcoming Davis Cup Asia-Oceania Zone II semi-final match against Pakistan was granted by the International Tennis Federation (ITF).

ITF spokesman Neil Robinson revealed on Wednesday that the Philippine officials have been informed with this development and they will need to provide the location and the date of the match.

However, the Pakistan Tennis Federation has requested that the venue should be done in a third country, stating that the security situation in the Philippines is also “not good.”
