It’s now down to the final two at the US Open 2010 Women’s Singles event and it is going to be an exciting affair with defending champion Kim Clijsters of Belgium facing Wimbledon 2010 runner-up Vera Zvonareva.
This is going to be an interesting match because Clijsters have another chance to win the US Open title for the third straight time in her career. It can be remember that she won this title in 2005 and then missed the event for the next three year. Her comeback last year was a successful one after regaining the US Open title and this time she can add another Slam trophy.
Zvonareva on the other hand made a stunning comeback this year, most notably her run to the finals at the Long England Club.
Their last two matches ended with the Russian being the victor. Either can win the honors tonight.
