The ATP US Men’s Claycourt Championship 2011 takes place this week in Houston. The top seed of this claycourt event is new American number one Mardy Fish, thanks to his semifinal finish last week in Miami, he debuts this week with a world ranking that’s higher than good friend Andy Roddick.
Fish is familiar with the tournament, having hoisted the trophy in 2006. A title win this week will certainly solidify his hold as top American player.
