Novak Djokovic beats Rafael Nadal to win Rome Masters 2011

There seems to be no stopping Serbian star Novak Djokovic from clinching the world number one ranking after he defeated top-ranked Rafael Nadal for the fourth straight time this season to win the Rome Masters 2011 tournament with a score of 6-4, 6-4.

This was the second straight Sunday where both players have met at the centercourt, all both on claycourts. Last week, Djokovic won the Madrid Masters 2011 tournament.

Despite his win here in Rome, Djokovic will still remain world number two next week but may have a great chance to overtake Nadal in the rankings if he performs better at the Roland Garros 2011 which begins on May 22.
