The Italian Open 2011 Semifinals Maria Sharapova vs Caroline Wozniacki Match will take place at 4 pm on May 14, Saturday at the Centrale Court. World number one Caroline Wozniacki has been playing consistently well this season and is one of the favorites at the Roland Garros 2011 tournament which begins in less than two weeks time.
As for their head-to-head series record, they’re tied at 2-2 but the last two encounters were won by Wozniacki (2011 Indian Wells and 2010 US Open). However, they’re all on hardcourts and it was Sharapova who won their lone claycourt encounter here in Rome three years ago.
