The 2011 Wimbledon Maria Sharapova vs Sabine Lisicki Ladies Semifinal Match is scheduled on Thursday, June 30 and is the second match to take place at the Centre Court. On Tuesday, Lisicki blasted 52 winners to get past 2007 finalist Marion Bartoli and became the first German player since Steffi Graf in 1999 to reach a Grand Slam semifinal. Meanwhile, Sharapova had an easier time reaching the final four after dispatching Slovakia’s Dominika Cibulkova in an hour. This will be the second Sharapova vs Lisicki match on tour with the Russian prevailing earlier this year at Miami Masters. Back then, Lisicki was still ranked 217 and has just returned from a long break. The German is currently ranked 62nd.
