Russia’s Maria Sharapova, a three-time Grand Slam champion, is now the heavy favorite to Wimbledon following the exit of past champions Venus and Serena Williams in the fourth round. Out of the eight remaining players, the fifth-seeded Russian is the only past Grand Slam winner. However, she’s not about to underestimate Dominika Cibulkova of Slovakia since the latter has beaten world number one Caroline Wozniacki in the previous round.
