After pulling off the biggest upset at the 2012 Wimbledon Championships two days ago, Czech Republic’s Lukas Rosol fizzled in the next match, losing in straight sets to Germany’s Philipp Kohlschreiber. The latter will go on to the fourth round of this grasscourt Slam event.
Rosol stunned Rafael Nadal in the second round that basically blew open the bottom half of the draw. However, he was less impressive on his next match. Kohlschreiber has an impressive record on grasscourts and coincidentally, the German was the last one to defeat Nadal prior to Rosol’s headline-grabbing feat. Kohlschreiber beat Nadal at the Gerry Weber Open in Halle two weeks ago.
