Wimbledon 2012 Men’s Quarterfinal: Jo Wilfried-Tsonga vs Philipp Kohlschreiber

Head to Head record: Tsonga leads 5-1
Prediction:  Kohlschreiber to win

There might be an upset brewing at the quarterfinals of the 2012 Wimbledon Championships and the most likely scenario would be Germany’s Philipp Kohlschreiber winning a career-setting win against Jo-Wilfried Tsonga of France here at the All England Club. Kohlschreiber is an accomplished grasscourt player, having won against Rafael Nadal in Halle quarterfinals this year and also defeated the man who defeated Nadal last week here in Wimbledon – Lukas Rosol. He’s certainly riding on confidence and self-belief that he belongs amongst the big leagues and could cause and upset win here. In his fourth-round match, the German defeated American comeback boy Brian Baker. Tsonga was a semifinalist at the Wimbledon Championships last year, coming back from a two set deficit to beat six-time champion Roger Federer. If he has that drive today, then he could clinch the win in five tight sets.
