The 30th edition of the Roger Federer vs Rafael Nadal showdown will take place on Sunday, May 19 at the Rome Masters 2013 tournament. Nadal powered to his eighth final out of eight tournaments participated so far this season with an easy straight sets victory over Tomas Berdych of the Czech Republic. Roger Federer, on the other hand, avoided a three set marathon against France’s Benoit Paire by winning the first set tiebreak and holding on to the lead in the second to win and set up this blockbuster finale with his rival.
Nadal leads their head to head series at 19-10. The most recent Federer vs Nadal match was at the Indian Wells 2013 quarterfinals with Nadal winning that said encounter all the way to a title victory.
