Caroline Wozniacki, Annika Beck to battle for Luxembourg Open title

Number one seed Caroline Wozniacki of Denmark is gunning for her first title of the season and she will have a chance to break a title-less season as she faces Annika Beck of Germany in the final of the Luxembourg Open on Sunday.

Wozniacki, currently ranked number 9, reached the final after defeating Sabine Lisicki of Germany in the semifinal. Beck advanced to her first WTA final after her opponent, Stefanie Voegele of Switzerland, retired from the match while trailing 7-5, 1-0.

Wozniacki will travel next to Istanbul after the tournament as she’s been named as the first alternate for the season-ending WTA Championships.
