LTA names first female president

Great Britain’s Lawn Tennis Association has appointed its first female president, according to Daily Mail. Cathie Sabin who hails from Shropshire accepted the offer to lead the organization.

It was also revealed in the report that the profits from the Wimbledon 2013 tournament were lower by £2.6 million to £35.1 million. This is due to the hefty increases in the prize money.
