Former world number seven Nicole Vaidisova of the Czech Republic has once again denied media reports that she has officially made plans for a comeback at the ATP Tour. According to reports, Vaidisova has just undergone a right shoulder surgery six months ago and is currently undergoing rehabilitation in Bradenton, Florida.
Despite these developments, it seemed that the comeback is still a possibility for Vaidisova who informed Tennis Magazine that she will consider this if she has fully healed from the surgery. She added that she doesn’t even own a tennis racquet currently.
The 24-year old Czech retired from professional tennis in 2010. She reached two Grand Slam singles semifinals at the Australian Open and French Open. She’s currently involved in divorce proceedings with fellow tennis player Radek Stepanek. Stepanek is currently dating Wimbledon 2011 champion Petra Kvitova.
