Australia’s Nick Kyrgios defeated Ryan Harrison of the United States 7-5, 6-2 on Tuesday at the Japan Open Tennis Championships but he’s also gained admiration from the spectators during a mid-match pause.
The world number 17 noticed that the medical staff had been called to attend to a fund during the first set. Kyrgios then called the attention of anyone in that section of the crowd so that he can offer a bottle of water. He tossed the bottle into the stands and afterwards received a warm of applause from fans.
Kyrgios will next face mentor, 37-year old Radek Stepanek in the 2nd round.
